When we arrived at the clients property we found approximately 20" of muck in the bottom of this pond. We had contracted to cleanout this pond and ad a skimmer and bio-falls. We did not expect to find this much buildup of muck. However we 'dug in' and cleaned it out then commenced to upgrade the pond with a new skimmer and biofalls adding much more filtration.
